Description[]

Dawnfall is a white, thick-furred young she-cat with ginger patches. Her eyes are amber-orange, and she has a stumpy tail. She has unusually long whiskers, and her white and ginger paws are kitten-like, with soft pink pads. Her thick, soft pelt is always getting stuck with burrs and thorns, so she has a few minor bald spots on her flank.

"Oh, hello! I'm Pumpkin! Want to be friends?"

Personality[]

Dawnfall is possibly the most curious cat in ThunderClan- she is fascinated by the other Clans and even the mountain tribes- she has no greater dream than to be a great explorer. She is always getting chastised by older warriors for asking too many questions or wandering out of ThunderClan territory because she saw something "fascinating". She has even followed rogues or loners into the depths of the forest, watching them with wide eyes, then running for her life when they chase her off. She also is still quite trusting of Twolegs and kittypets, even though she hasn't been a housecat since she was a kitten. Dawnfall loves games and mischief, and many cats have called her "nosy", but Dawnfall doesn't understand this- what's the matter with being curious and trying to learn new things? The other warriors complain about her, but no cat can ignore the fact that she is incredibly quick to learn- she can pick up a new technique quicker than any other young cat, and when she was an apprentice, her mentor, Sunfur, marveled at her intelligence and sighed at her spaciness.

History[]

Dawnfall was born "Pumpkin" and was a housecat. She had a sister, Spice, and they were happy, carefree kittens- tumbling across their housefolk's carpet, snoozing beside a cozy autumn fireplace, with their mother Kayda watching drowsily. Their owner was a little, elderly Twoleg who had many creatures she had taken in- parrots, dogs, bunnies- and now Kayda, Pumpkin, and Spice. Pumpkin didn't understand then, that her mother was tired and bored with being a kittypet- Kayda wanted to be outdoors, in the wilderness. As comfortable as this little house was, Kayda wasn't as happy as her kits. And one day, she brought her kits out into the crisp autumn air of the outdoors, and she promised herself she'd never look back. Pumpkin remembers how confused and excited she was- she missed her person, but her mind was buzzing with curiosity- what was out here, in this big, big world?
