  • The user must have the support of all other active bureaucrats + admins.

How to apply

There are currently two different ways.

  1. Wait for moderator applications to reopen, then apply. Applications often close after a week and are read and reviewed by the entire staff team. It is highly recommended you put a lot of effort and truth into your application, as that will increase chances of your promotion. If you pass, you'll spend at least a week as a trial moderator before promotion.
  2. Make a thread on your message wall titled '(Username) for (position)', and include reasons. Users will either support or oppose, and if the required percentage of supports is reached after one week, you will be promoted. Note that if you don't meet the requirements, your thread will be closed.

Demotion System

Organized and planned by the wiki's January 2018 staff team, which consisted of Milo, GlenDusk, Simmer-Lepius, DreamingWolf1, and Watermelon Army.

Possible scenarios for demotion

Inactivity

Inactivity is a huge problem around the wiki. If a user does not contribute for two months or more, they are classified as inactive. Unless you leave an inactivity blog, you will be demoted for inactivity.

Neglect

This is when admins neglect the wiki, making it seem they disappeared completely and without any traces (blog posts, messages etc). They 'neglected' their rights.

Rudeness

Sometimes you start shouting at people, posting unkind and/or discriminatory things. This can lead to demotion and even a block, depending on the problem. A screenshot is usually required to prove acts of rudeness.

Abusing your rights

Some users are very greedy for the rights of a privileged user, so sometimes, after they earn these rights, they abuse them. This includes demoting other privileged users, blocking random users and deleting pages when not requested. This will lead to instant demotion, with a thread for users to vote to decide whether to promote the user back or not.
